Angel Reese reveals the huge amount Lonzo Ball gave her to cover a $200 fine
Angel Reese shared on Thursday’s episode of her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast that Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball made good on his promise to cover her $200 WNBA fine and gave her $2,000 instead.
“You gave me $2000, but do you know how much the fine actually was?” Reese said.
Angel Reese’s June 4 ejection during the game against the New York Liberty resulted in the fine. Initially, she was handed two technical fouls for disputing a call but the WNBA rescinded the second technical.
Despite her early exit, she was still able to record a solid stat line. She kicked off a WNBA-record 15 consecutive double-doubles, posting 13 points and 10 rebounds against the eventual champions.
