Olympics – In France, LeBron’s crazy scene with an Alsatian: “It was surreal”

LeBron James avec Team USA

Global superstar, LeBron James obviously draws crowds during these Paris Olympic Games.

An Alsatian family notably recounted their incredible interaction with the Chosen One, during the group stages in Lille.

Now 39 years old, it is clear that LeBron James is in the twilight of his career.

And yet, the Lakers winger continues to display an incredible level of play for his age.

Last season, he was still averaging 25 points in Los Angeles and he was even voted best player at Team USA’s training camp ahead of the Olympic Games.

He is still the boss of the selection.

Flag bearer for the United States at these Paris Olympics, living legend of the orange ball and even of sport in general, LBJ is inevitably the center of attention at the slightest public appearance. As a result, everyone wants to take a photo with him after the American selection’s matches.

He also granted this wish to a young Alsatian named Félicien Antz, after the group victory against Puerto Rico:

Constantly booed, Joel Embiid honest about the French public: “It’s not…

Not only did the King pose with the young boy, but he actually grabbed his phone in his hands to take the photo.

A totally crazy and obviously unforgettable scene for Félicien, but also for his father Emmanuel.

A former Pro A player, the latter returned to the course of a day really like no other on France Info:

It was surreal, we didn’t sleep a wink all night! I had promised my sons that we would go see two matches.

With the French team, and with the US team.

In fact, I didn’t have tickets…. Neither for one, nor for the other! My children didn’t know, they were convinced that everything was taken care of. Finally, we managed to get by, by looking around the stadium.

We were able to buy tickets.

For the USA/Puerto Rico match, we had seats on level 2, that is to say at the very top of the room.

I suggested to my sons that we try to go down, and that’s how we found ourselves right next to the footbridge that the players use. (…) It was completely improbable, continues Emmanuel Antz. LeBron James took his phone.

He took a selfie and gave it back to him. It was surreal, huge!

The Antz family had traveled to Lille to watch LeBron James’ exploits, they left with unforgettable memories in their pockets.

Not only of the match, but also thanks to this legendary selfie that the Chosen One agreed to take with them.
