The stars were out in Brooklyn on Sunday night for the final game of the WNBA season, and that included Angel Reese.

Spike Lee, Jason Sudeikis, Carmelo Anthony, Sue Bird, and Megan Rapinoe were just some of the other big names who sat courtside at Barclays Center for the decisive Game 5 between the New York Liberty and Minnesota Lynx.

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese ended up stealing the show. She was in Brooklyn for the big game and donned a split outfit, with one half of her shirt repping the Lynx and the other half showing off the Liberty.

Reese may have failed to make the playoffs with her squad, mostly due to her injury and missing the final games of the year, but she made sure to be on hand as the Liberty captured their first title in franchise history. She celebrated with several members of the team, including WNBA Finals MVP Jonquel Jones.

Angel Reese posted selfies with Liberty stars Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones.

Jonquel Jones was named the 2024 WNBA Finals MVP after the New York Liberty’s dramatic Game 5 victory over the Minnesota Lynx Sunday night.

She scored a team-high 17 points and six rebounds in Game 5 and was Liberty’s most consistent player throughout the series.

She averaged 17.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists on 56.1% shooting from the field and scored in double figures in all five games.

Angel Reese Hoping to Bring Magic To The Chicago Sky One Day in The Future

Angel Reese suffered a season-ending injury shortly after setting the WNBA record for the most rebounds in a single season.

With her in the lineup, the Chicago Sky was trending to be a playoff team.

During her collegiate career, Reese averaged 18.6 points and 12.3 rebounds per game.

Reese averaged 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds during her rookie season in the WNBA.

The Sky finished the year as the No. 10 team in the WNBA standings with a 13-27 record.
