Less than a day ago, Team USA brought home another Olympic golf after LeBron James, Steph Curry, and the remaining men’s basketball squad beat the home team for the win. Sadly, for Curry celebrations were short-lived. His wife Ayesha Curry, mother Sonya Curry and kids faced a disturbing situation after. As per reports, the family was allegedly assaulted by the French people, and one of the children was even hit! And in these moments of despair, NBA star Draymond Green has stood by them voicing his displeasure with the situation to the French police loud and clear.
Steph’s mother, Sonya, too, was infuriated with the situation and said to the police, “Stop! You should be helping us. It’s a baby.” The Warriors’ superstar’s mother was even seen pointing to the other side and making her plea for the police to help them out. “They won’t let the driver come here and won’t let us go back there.”
What’s your reaction?
Draymond Green fiercely defends Ayesha and Sonya Curry amid shocking assault allegations! React!
It was likely Caius Curry, the youngest of Ayesha’s and Steph’s 4 children that was the victim of the alleged assault in the video. He is currently just over 2 months old.
It’s likely Team USA defeating France that led to the entire altercation and disturbing situation that the Curry family faced. After all, Steph Curry spearheaded the charge for the American side to bring home gold. As for fans, they had overtly stated their hate for Curry & Co.
After the Olympic game was concluded, Team USA got their gold medals with which they did the medal-biting pose. French fans weren’t too kind to Joel Embiid who they booed once again. Embiid too responded in a quirky way by putting his hands up in the air to acknowledge it. Team USA also supported Embiid from the podium and egged on the spectators.
Meanwhile, Curry in order to celebrate the moment of his first Olympic gold medal sang along to the song “Star-Spangled Banner.” Therefore, it definitely was an exceptional moment for his fans. Post that he made the most of it by clicking pictures with LeBron James and Kevin Durant – something Curry will remember for a while.
Thus, Team USA astoundingly celebrated their win albeit for this one particular instance. French fans might pacify themselves with the fact that they won silver, and hopefully, Sonya and Ayesha along with all the parties involved would have solved their issues amicably.
Stay tuned for more such updates and join us for the exciting second episode of the “Dual Threat Show” as our host BG12 sits down with Georgia Bulldogs star and Mountain West All-Freshman Team Selection, Asia Avinger.
